This is really a matter of personal preference. Each has their pro’s and their con’s.
With a truck it is nice that you only need one unit to get from one event to the other, you do not have to worry about unhooking and hooking up a unit however, if the engine breaks down on you, you are out of the events and revenue until you get your unit rolling again.
With a trailer, you get more space so you are able to fit more equipment, cooking items, etc., and still work comfortably. You do not have to worry about an engine failure. If your tow unit breaks down you can find another tow unit and you can still make it to your events while they are working on fixing your tow vehicle. It is slightly more inconvenient to drive around a trailer since you do have to un-hook and hook up the unit.
